Hello all-
Barry Stacks, singer and leader of the Grifs, passed away this week. Barry formed the Grifs in Charlotte, NC in 1964, and they went to record two of the best singles that ever came from the city, "Catch A Ride" and "Keep Dreaming". I interviewed Barry for both editions of my NC 1960s Rock & Roll book. Thanks for the ride, Barry,
